🌿 The Hawkshead Console Table: Industrial Elegance for Slim Spaces

Elevate your entryway with a piece that balances rugged character and modern design. The Hawkshead Console Table is specifically handcrafted for narrow hallways, tight entryways, and small living spaces where style usually has to be sacrificed for size.

At just 22.5cm deep, it provides the perfect surface for your keys, mail, or favourite decor without obstructing your walkway.

✨ Why Choose the Hawkshead?

Premium Structural Timber: ALL OF THE TIMBER USED IN OUR PRODUCTS IS C16 OR C24 STRUCTURAL GRADED TIMBER FOR STRENGTH AND LONGEVITY. WE DO NOT USE CHEAP SCAFFOLD BOARD TIMBER IN ANY OF OUR PRODUCTS. This ensures your table is exceptionally strong, heavy-duty, and built to last a lifetime.

Character That Tells a Story: We blend new and genuine reclaimed wood, embracing the natural "scars" of the timber. Every chip, dent, and knot is a deliberate part of the design, making your table a 1-of-1 masterpiece.

Hand-Finished Luxury: Every table undergoes a rigorous sanding process before being hand-waxed to a silky, durable finish that protects the wood while highlighting its natural grain.

🛠️ Custom-Built for Your Home

Select your perfect dimensions and finish from the dropdown menus to create a bespoke fit:

Length: 50cm to 180cm (measures the space between the legs).

Top Shelf Length: The top shelf is always 13cm longer than the interior gap (the space between the legs).

Example: If you choose a 100cm length unit, the top shelf will measure 113cm.

Height: 75cm to 100cm (measures the space from floor to the bottom of the top shelf). **PLEASE STATE YOUR CHOICE OF LEG HEIGHT IN THE COMMENTS AT CHECKOUT OR DROP US A MESSAGE AFTER CHECKING OUT**

Example: If you choose a 90cm height unit, the total unit height including the top shelf will measure 94.5cm.

RADIATOR NOTICE: Where this unit is to be placed over a radiator, please ensure you factor in sufficient extra space for heat escape. We recommend 10cm+ for this above the radiator top.

Depth: Slimline 22.5cm

Wax Finishes:

Clear/Natural: Raw, Scandinavian-inspired beauty.

Medium Brown: Warm, honey-toned classic rustic.

Dark Brown: Bold, rich, antique character.

🪵 What’s Included?

Custom-made Hawkshead Console Table (Fully Built (FB) or Flat Pack (FP), depending on option/size chosen).

Two solid, durable wooden legs.

Safety First: A sturdy wall-fixing bracket is included to ensure your table remains rock-solid, even in high-traffic hallways or homes with pets and children.

Please Note: As we use natural reclaimed timber, the wood grain and "imperfections" will vary from the photos. This is the hallmark of authentic, handmade rustic furniture!

All of our orders are shipped using a courier service on either a 48hr or 72hr delivery service dependant upon courier availability. Our courier may attempt to contact you via text or email prior to attempting delivery. If you are not available when our courier attempts delivery they may leave a card or ask you to call them to arrange re-delivery. Most courier services will attempt to deliver an item 2-3 times before returning the item to the sender. If an item is returned to us we reserve the right to charge for re-attempting delivery to you. Please note: you may be required to sign for delivery of your item and in some cases this will need to be an adult over 18 years of age.

Occasionally unexpected delays to your expected delivery time may occur due to unexpected circumstances such as bad weather, peak periods etc.

Please note: once your order has left us into the care of the courier company any unexpected delays are entirely out of our hands and any delivery queries should be directed to the courier company with whom your purchase has been shipped.
We use a mixture of new and reclaimed timber in all of our products. This means that the timber we use has had a varied and often hard life prior to being made into unique pieces of furniture.

The boards we use will have a variety of man made and natural chips, dents, scratches, small holes, missing knots and may even be slightly warped or bent.

We take every care with these pieces of timber to make the final product as straight as possible and work with any imperfections to either make a feature of them or blend them into the final product.

As an extra safeguard we provide rubber feet protectors with our metal legged products and we also supply felt pads to attach to the bottoms of wooden/metal legs which can be used to flatten out any small imperfections.
📌 Please Take a Moment to Review These Important Details:

Character & Tolerances: Our timber is a beautiful mix of both new and reclaimed wood. Because we embrace and work around the natural imperfections of the timber, we work with a size tolerance of +/- 2cm in any direction.

Unique Colour Finishes: Our colour charts are a great guide, but please remember that every single piece of wood is unique. Because it’s handmade, your furniture will take our wax finishes differently—meaning your finished item will be similar to our examples, but uniquely yours and not an exact match.

Check the Sizing & Descriptions: Please ensure you have fully read and understood the product description, especially the sizing information. For example, some of our console tables are sized by their internal dimensions to ensure they fit perfectly around radiators.

Eco-Friendly Packaging: In our ongoing efforts to reduce our environmental impact, we use a mixture of new and pre-used packaging. Your order may arrive in boxes bearing other companies' logos—rest assured, your beautiful furniture is safe and sound inside!

Once your order arrives, we truly hope you are absolutely delighted with it. If you could spare a few minutes of your time to leave us a quick review on Etsy, it would mean the world to our small team.
